Ventless dryers and older wiring in condos
Many Adams Point condos run ventless dryers, which dry by condensing moisture instead of venting hot air outside, and they need a different kind of care. A ventless dryer that leaves clothes damp usually has a clogged condenser or a drain issue, not a dead heater. The older wiring in these buildings adds another layer, because a 1920s or 1940s circuit was not laid out for a modern laundry pair, and a breaker that trips on spin or heat points to the circuit as much as to the machine.
We clean the condenser, check the drain path, and test the dryer on a full cycle, because a ventless unit that is tested empty can look fine and fail on a real load. We also check the outlet and the breaker behavior while we are there, and we say plainly when an electrician should look at the circuit, because a dryer fault and a wiring fault need different trades.
